EAP225-Outdoor Access Point Wi-Fi 5 AC1200 Outdoor

The TP-Link Omada EAP225-Outdoor is a dual-band AC1200 Wi-Fi 5 access point for outdoor and indoor use — car parks, gardens, resorts, farms and other open areas. It delivers 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz with omnidirectional coverage of roughly 200 m on 2.4 GHz and 300 m on 5 GHz.

The IP65 weatherproof enclosure has 6 kV lightning protection and two detachable external dual-band antennas. Its Gigabit port accepts 802.3af PoE or 24 V passive PoE (a passive PoE adapter for dry indoor use is included), and it mounts on a pole or wall.

It is managed through Omada SDN via the cloud, a hardware or software controller, or the Omada app, and supports Omada Mesh, seamless roaming and captive portal for extending Wi-Fi outdoors with less cabling.
