AP162E Access Point Wi-Fi 6 Wall Plate

The Huawei eKitEngine AP162E is a compact Wi-Fi 6 access point that mounts in a standard 86 mm wall junction box, making it a tidy fit for hotel rooms, offices and apartments where each room needs its own coverage.

It runs two radios (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, each 2x2 MIMO) with a combined device rate of 2.975 Gbps and built-in smart antennas. Huawei rates it for 48 recommended users and up to 128 connected users, with an optimal coverage range of about 15 m.

Two gigabit RJ45 ports let you wire a TV, PC or phone directly at the wall, and the AP is powered over PoE (802.3af) with a maximum draw of 9.1 W.
